Square wood columns make an excellent addition to traditional and modern homes, offices and restaurants. Our square columns are crafted from premium types of wood like Maple, Cherry, Alder, White Oak, Walnut, Red Oak and Mahogany. They can be ordered unfinished and hand-sanded, or finished with Monocoat Natural Oil for a clear, satin-matte lustre.
Heights of 29", 36" and 42" are available, and custom scaling is offered on Craftsman columns. We can cut any column down to the size you need. These stain grade columns are of too high quality to be considered paint grade. They look amazing with a clear coat to highlight the natural wood grain, though if they must be painted, Maple is the most affordable option.
These columns are solid wood—capable of load bearing. Morris columns are square tapered columns with a cap and base, while Craftsman columns are straight shafts often used as porch columns or porch posts. Craftsman table legs make excellent legs for a kitchen table.
All square and craftsman columns can be used as interior columns or exterior columns if sealed. All our wood products are crafted with care in America.
